Mäx & Mäleon GmbH from Frankfurt am Main has set itself the goal of making private urban transport more sustainable and developing alternatives to the car for getting around the city. Their efforts have resulted in the creation of the passenger cargo bike.

The passenger cargo bike combines the environmental friendliness and fun of a bicycle with the flexible features of a car. The three-wheeled Pedelec with electric motor also allows adults to travel safely, comfortably and quickly. The design makes it easy to quickly adjust the bike when changing between transporting passengers and transporting cargo. The air-sprung chassis with lockable tilting technology developed for this purpose ensures maximum safety and dynamics – even at high speeds and in the case of high payloads and heavy loads – and makes the vehicle attractive for both last-mile delivery and “carpooling”.
