Inflabi is working on the development of an inflatable, comfortable and sustainable bicycle helmet. To achieve this, the start-up from Darmstadt uses air cushions to absorb energy in the event of a fall instead of foamed plastic, as is common with many other helmets. This technology also allows the helmet to be folded up compactly and stowed away. The helmet is designed to provide cyclists with better protection in road traffic and to persuade those who do not currently wear a helmet to wear a helmet.
