Green Convenience’s innovative software allows online retailers and parcel services that operate consumer apps to automatically prevent failed home delivery attempts and problems with delivery windows from happening. This improves the delivery experience and reduces delivery costs and emissions. The start-up based in Maintal, Germany uses mobile phone location data from app users, data protection technologies and other non-personal big data and artificial intelligence to predict when a delivery attempt will be successful in compliance with data protection regulations. The software automatically recognises if the recipient is not home. This allows the driver to change their route before they reach the delivery address.
